Well my first review I'm going to start it with one word FRUSTRATION!! The two main characters thats what they were frustrating, their personality and both their stories. Emma she never wanted anything for herself and let herself get treated as dirt which was frustrating as she was so much more than that she downplayed herself a lot and Dexter was obnoxious and for most off the book off his face because he had always drunk too much as i if he always felt self pity and he always seemed to treat her like dirt and pick her up and drop her like a ragdoll whenever he wanted which i found irritating. He also needed to grow up throught out this book and take on responsiblity and smell the coffee as it were even after him having a child and the death of emma he still was acting like an unresponsible teenager and just getting drunk still it just got tiring after a while I mean i do get where he was coming from with the greif of losing her. I thought her death was unneccesary i thought it was there to pick up the story a little bit as it wasnt going anywhere, I felt it picked up about page 325 but then after about ten pages it dipped again. I feel the story was kind of dragged out and it could have been cut down by quite a bit. The story was kind of depressing as you knew they had something for each other but just drawn out and Emma deserved alot more and she was forever unhappy. When they were together they seemed very unhappy. The book for me was dragged out and frustrating. Well my first review is done and hope you enjoyed rading it and hope you will read further entires.
